T.N.G. Projects - The  Candlelight Sculptures

The idea of The Candlelight Sculptures arose from a pressing need to elevate the visual appearance of the canteen area at Boldklubben Stefan in preparation for a forthcoming exhibition. The exhibition was where the locations and the external surroundings would constitute in its entirety an installation work of art.Given that a solid collaboration was taking place with the senior members of the sole girls football team, the suggestion was made and greeted with enthusiasm that we would collaborate in an attempt to enhance what could be politely termed as a visually pragmatic area of a beautifully located building.

The transition from a spontaneous thought to a visual reality has had the same merit and impact of winning an unexpected football match. The added benefit of this victory is that the evidence is physical and exists to adorn and decorate various locations within the clubhouse, not least the exclusive girls changing room which is in the process of undergoing a visual makeover. The future plan is to create more of these wonderful objects with the objective of creating exhibitions and potential sales that will finance the activity of the girls football teams at Boldklubben Stefan.
